If : If the dose of 60 mg of Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) was too high for you it could lead to personality changes, irritability or insomnia. There are different types of depression. If an individual has bi-polar depression with periods of elevated mood and energy as well as periods of lower energy and mood, stimulation from the Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) might trigger a period of elation, decreased sleep, irritability and higher energy level. If Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is abruptly stopped or there is a major dosage drop over a short period of time it might lead to depression and very low energy levels. Has a mood stabilizer been tried?
