Possibly: It could potentially be related to an irritation of a nerve in the neck, this is known as a cervical radiculopathy. One of the other common causes is one of a number of peripheral nerve entrapment syndromes that can occur in the arm itself; two of the more common being carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome. Don't hesitate to be seen for an accurate diagnosis.
