Could be but I doubt: This could possibly be a nerve compression or ruptured disk in your neck which should be evaluated the pain and numbness also might also be unrelated.

Neuromuscular : It is possible the neck pain and the right ring and pinky numbness are related. A disc, ligament or vertebral bone problem can narrow the nerve exit and cause irritation on the nerves to your hand (c8-t1). However, when this occurs numbness in the forearm occurs. Another possibility is ulnar nerve problem at the wrist or at the elbow and coincidental neck pain. Check with your doctor for DX & tx.
