Different levels: When a neck nerve root or nerve is compressed by a disc or spur, symptoms may be pain, pins and needles, tingling, numbness or muscle weakness. It depends on what fibers are compressed and the fingers involved depends on what nerve is compressed as well. Many people with bulging discs have no symptoms.
