Taking : Taking Percodan (oxycodone and aspirin) and Motrin around the same time should be avoided unless specifically instructed to do so by your doctor. Percodan (oxycodone and aspirin) contains Aspirin which is in a similar drug family to motrin. The combination can increase your chance of gastrointestinal toxicity and severe bleeding. Not recommended: Because Percodan (oxycodone and aspirin) contains aspirin, and Aspirin and Ibuprofen have similar effects, and similar side effects, particularly stomach irritation and effects on blood clotting. I would wait at least 4 hours before taking one after the other.
