Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, etc. An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. Pain in the upper abdomen, plus worsening after eating, can be due to gallstones, other gall bladder disease, various food intolerances, pancreatitis, etc. A doctor can evaluate for diagnosis and treatment.
