Air pollution: It is not so much the odor as the effect it has on the nasal passages & lungs. We know these odors increase the nasal congestion in infants which increases their work of breathing. We know that smoke increases the risk of crib death, although incense has not been studied separately. What is very clear is that it does not in any way improve the life of baby.
