Could sleeping on my chest with my left arm underneath could cause petechiae to appear on that arm. only lasted a day. shoul i be concern?

It is certainly: possible that prolonged compression from sleeping on your arm could cause this finding. It is unlikely you have a hematological disorder or that you are taking platelet inhibiting drugs but it wouldn't hurt to ask your health care provider to review your medications list and get a platelet count blood test just to be sure.
