Back stools: Hi Dr, Recently i'm diagnosed with Reflux. Today my stools just turned black for no reason. What could be the cause of it? ANS: 1. Eating a lot of greens 2. taking iron pills, bleeding from upper GI tract. A lot. First get stools tested for blood. Easy to do in office.
