Intestinal Bleeding: Frequent vomiting, (especially induced) can cause a very dangerous tear in the esophagus called a mallory-weiss tear. Gastroenterologists will use an endoscope to assess tissue damage. Bright red blood in stool is usually means hemorroids. Darker blood usually comes for higher in the intestinal tract. See a gastroenterologist asap. Treatment for the eating disorder is critical or it may be fatal.
