LUQ pain in Kids: What you are describing sounds most like chronic constipation. However, based soley on the symptom of left sided pain other things to consider are some form of inflammatory bowel disease (constipation is not typical), gastric ulcers, pancreatitis, and some form of cancer. To really get to the root of the problem, this child needs to be seen and evaluated.
