No cause for alarm: If your preoperative diagnosis was an early dysplasia, it is usually reported that "cryotherapy of the cervix when performed for an early dysplasia (CIN 1 or 2) is highly effective". Cryo does work. The recurrence of a cervical intraepithelial neoplastic process after cryotherapy for more advanced lesions like CIN3 is a bit greater. Bloody discharge is quite common and can last for many weeks.
