Gets worse/ better: Baby acne doesn't emerge during pregnancy although the hormones that trigger it are present.It won't while babies skin is bathed in moist amniotic fluid.After birth, the dryer environment lets it emerge,generally by 2 weeks, peaking by 6 wk and fading by 3 mo.As the retained maternal hormones of pregnancy fade, so does the skin problem.
