Ringworm: Ringworm is caused by a fungus in the skin. Triamcinolone is a steroid which can reduce redness and itching but does not directly treat the fungus. Sometimes ringworm can resolve on its own, but if getting worse, needs an antifungal.

No: If anything it would keep the skin soft while ut gets worse.
