can triamcinolone acetonide cure a ringworm?

Ringworm: Ringworm is caused by a fungus in the skin. Triamcinolone is a steroid which can reduce redness and itching but does not directly treat the fungus. Sometimes ringworm can resolve on its own, but if getting worse, needs an antifungal.

Dr.Horn is correct. Often steroids will make a fungal infection worse rapidly! Don't use it, use an antifungal cream. If a steroid helps, it usually means that it was annular eczema, which looks like ringworm, and not truly a fungus

Dr Rhodes is correct. "Ringworm" is not a medical diagnosis and is usually an erroneous diagnosis.

No: If anything it would keep the skin soft while ut gets worse.
