Incorrect Rx: Amoxicillin is an antibiotic for bacteria. Ineffective for Herpes which as caused by a virus. Ulcers on outside of lips have different etiology than ulcers within the mouth. Your physician is a little out of his depth here. You need to see a General Dentist or a specialist Oral Pathologisr.
