Orthopedic surgeon: Usually there are no lumps,nodules or swelling in inflammation of a sacroiliac joint. I recommend that you be examined by an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment in view of spreading hip and spinal discomfort. Any appropriate tests will be ordered.
