Generally, yes: There are no specific interactions or contraindications of using both drugs. However, 10 mg of diazepam (Valium®) is a large dose. The starting dose is usually 2-5 mg. Benzodiazepines like diazepam are meant for short-term use for anxiety, and if anxiety is longer-term or persistent, there are better ways to treat it, including psychotherapy techniques, antidepressant and other drugs.
