Yes: The cervix is more sensitive during pregnancy and will often bleed if touched. This includes vaginal ultrasounds, doctor exams, and sex. Spotting or light bleeding after any of these is very common. Heavy bleeding is not normal.

Yes: It is very common to be constipated when you are pregnant. Hard stools can irritate and cause fissures (cracks/cuts) in the anal/perianal area, resulting in bleeding when you move your bowels or wipe yourself. If you are experiencing bleeding from the vagina and are pregnant, you need to inform your obstetrician so he/she can investigate where the bleeding is coming from.
