Whether or not the: pain is related in any way to the Whipple's procedure, significant and/or persistent pain shouldn't be ignored. If possible, you should start with a follow up visit with your surgeon who is the best person to determine if you're experiencing late complications of the Whipple or not. Best wishes. Dr. anne

Pain is a concern. : Whipple or not, pain is always a concern. Or at least a curiosity. Should it persist, or if new associated symptoms develop, you should be evaluated.
