Likely Not: Melatonin can make steroids and immunosuppressants work less effectively. If you are taking a low dose under 1 gram it is likely ok. If you have a flare of autoimmune disease do not take melatonin. Melatonin may make calcium channel blockers less effective (procardia/nifedipine/adalat/verapamil). Ask your rheumatologist if it is ok to take at this time.
