Reevaluation: The Most likely possibilities are that you have ITB syndrome that has failed conservative care, or that the pain is coming from something else, such as a pinched nerve in the back. If you have not had one, an MRI of the lumbar spine as well as the hip itself would likely confirm the diagnosis. Don't hesitate to seek a second opinion to get a fresh set of eyes to look at you as well.
