30 y/o son has strep for 3 wks.was on 500 mg augmentin for 8 days now 875 augmentin,so far this will be day 4,but his throat still not right.no fever?

ENT : Time to see ENT consult. Pantoprazole interacts and lowers Augmentin absorption take protonix a few hours after. I would reexamine switch to Clindamycin. General rule no improvement after 3 days return to MD. If spikes fevers IV medication and possible I+D if tonsillitis w/abscess. Really have to see in person. Good luck.
