Ferritin storage: Being tired can be due to many things other than low ferritin (iron deficiency). You should have a general checkup to make sure there is nothing else that is causing your fatigue. You may consider taking elemental iron (150 to 200 mg) with vitamin C daily. Iron transfusion is also an option.
