My Serum iron level is 9 [range:14-28] Ferritin is 18 [10-420] Symptoms fatigue, headaches, dizziness Do I need to use iron supplements/ferrous fumarate to increase it? Whats the difference between serum iron and ferritin please?
Do i need iron supplements if I have a blood ferritin level of 11.2? My regular iron levels are within range, but I'm often dizzy and sleepy.
58yr f ferritin 255 & b12 1807. Fatigue costochondritis aches pains hair loss hot flashes headaches dizziness blurred vision weight gain. No metabolic syndrome, normal iron, liver and kidney function. Any thoughts?
