Right ear perforated due to ear infection. 5th day of antibiotics, now left ear is muffled. could this end up perforating? or could it be linked?

Yes, it could be: perforated, or the other ear may now have a fluid accumulation behind the ear drum. Please see your doctor to be sure of the cause and possible further treatment.

Linked: A person who develops a middle ear infection usually has a predisposing factor like a cold or allergies. What leads to fluid buildup & infection and infection on one side can often do so on both.The muffling is usually the fluid buildup & perforation uncommon. See your doc.
