I had sudden stabbing abdominal pain where appendix would be, no appendix or ovary. doc banged on back, kidney area. now very bad back pain. 3+ weeks.

RLQ pain: Studies show that right lower quadrant abdominal pain even in the absence of an appendix and ovary may require a CT scan if you have significant abdominal pain, guarding, rebound tenderness, or inability to tolerate a diet or pass flatus/stool. Please don't forget, you have had surgery in this area and adhesions causing intestinal obstruction are common. Please see your MD may need barium enema.
