Chest infection: You have/have had a chest infection. The million dollar question is whether it is bacterial and would benefit from antibiotics. In the VAST majority of cases the answer is no (virus) and your symptoms will gradually improve. Sometimes you could have an 'atypical' infection which does benefit from a course of special antibiotics. An in-person consult with your GP would help to sort this out.
