What drug? How much?: You do not say what the name of the antibiotic is, and how much of that concentration he is supposed to take and how many times a day, and for how many days. Please ask again and clarify.

Incomplete info: Dosing on meds is determined both by weight & what is being treated. If it is a med that concentrates easily in the target, like amoxicillin in a urinary tract infection, you get by with less.In a middle ear infection where the germs differ & require more, you use more. The dose you list could be considered on the low side of normal for amoxicillin in an ear infection.
