This often results when yeast, which live in the intestines, grow in higher numbers when normal gut bacteria are killed by the antibiotic. Stopping the antibiotic will just allow the ear infection to continue & not fix the problem. Contact his doc, discuss the rash. If he agrees he can call in an antifungal cream to help the rash. Also consider giving probiotics to help the intestines get balance
