Depends : Depends on the injury. Options not surgical may include living with what you've got, taking pain relief and physiotherapy. PT and injections : There are a number of options for young patients with knee arthritis such as PT to strengthen the muscles supporting the knee. If that doesn't give enough relief then injections of steroids or joint lubricant are available.
