Specks in ear wax: For the last week every time I use a Q-tip to clean my ears there are tiny black specs like pepper in the wax, why is this ? ANS: suspect is it old wax that has turned black. Trust you don't pepper your ears? Dr humor. May be worthwhile to go to your Dr and have a good exam and cleaning of ears.
