I have a coworker who had a dizzy spell an fell bumping his head just above his right eye. since the injury he has had an uncontrollable craving for black pepper. is this associated with his fall?

Head injuries: I have seen numerous patients with head injuries, but I have never seen one develop a craving for pepper or any other food or spice as a result of the head trauma. Some patients with certain types of seizures may experience a smell during the seizure,however,but this is different from your friend's craving.
