A member asked:

Do antipsychotics like zyprexa produce a euphoric effect or do they make you feel good? i find if i miss a dose i feel insecure and can get problems

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No euphoria.: Antipsychotics don't make you euphoric like cocaine or heroin or ecstasy. If your dose is too high, they can make you "drugged," -- sleepy, slurrred speech, imbalance. If you feel good, then it's because it has managed or treated a state which has been making you feel bad. And this is common, in fact, is really the point.
