Nasal examination: Nosebleeds are fairly common in pregnancy. This is due to hormonal effects on the blood vessels in the nose. Most cases can be managed by holding pressure until it resolves. If the bleeding is heavy or does not resolve have your Obgyn refer you to an ENT physician who can examine your nose to make sure nothing abnormal is happening.
