A member asked:

What can be causing my liver count to be high when i don't drink?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more info: What do mean by liver count? There is no test for "liver count". If you liver enzymes are elevated, that could be due to some medication you are taking, viral infection, nutritional deficiency or obesity. You need to discuss it with the doctor who ordered the test for liver function. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
