Fordyce spots: Are normal. Cold sores begin with a blister and become a painful ulcer. If you have no pain, you're probably ok. Vaping like smoking, chewing tobacco, snuff etc. will lead to serious health problems down the road..

Cold Sores: usually look like a cluster of lesions that look like blisters. It doesn't look like Fordyce spots.
