Soft tissue: You need to be more specific. Is this all over your mouth and your gums?or localized? If your gums are swollen all over, you might have gingivitis and or periodontal (gum) disease. Swelling: Any swelling needs to be evaluated as to cause and then treated if indicated appropriately. I doubt the sun was a factor. Probably coincidence. We can't diagnose it over the internet so please see your dentist to help you feel better fast.
