See an ENT doctor: Tonsils are immune tissues in the back of the throat. Generally they shrink with age, but can become infected and require removal. Occasionally, they can reappear, but one would never see tonsils grow on a tongue. Any growth should be checked out and probably be removed by an ENT surgeon.
