Relax: This is a realistic but overdone issue for most. It became prominent in the folklore decades ago with tampons made from certain germ friendly material which has long since been discontinued. With TSS we often saw sudden onset of fever, dizziness, fainting low blood pressure, etc.You should be fine but don't make this a habit.
