A member asked:

What if it were 3 broken cfl bulbs in a row? my kids did that in a period of 1 month. i didn't know those bulbs contained mercury. are we intoxicated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stop worrying: Mercury is part of the normal environment. High doses are deadly; trying to study the effects of slightly increased exposure generates a huge amount of contradictory results and I'm underwhelmed with the science behind the "scare" stuff, like the light bulb claims. You're free to ask your physician to have bloodwork sent to an ETHICAL tox lab; I'll bet you you're normal. Best wishes.
