Normal Wound Care: In general, if this mark on the hand is just a birthmark, then it will heal normally - just keep the cut clean, dry, and bandaged until it's well-healed. If the mark is a mole, or a 'nevus', continue to watch the area carefully for the next 1-3 months to make sure that it isn't growing, changing color or the borders of the mark are smooth. If these changes happen, see your regular doctor.
