I broke my fifth metatarsal 8 weeks ago, and there is no sign of healing on my ct. should i opt for surgery or would a bone stimulator be better?

Depends: This is typically answered based on the patient's health and activity status. Open reductions are excellent procedures for non-healing fractures, however, the patient needs to be in good health (no smoking, diabetes, etc) for it to heal! I usually opt for open reduction internal fixation plus a bone stimulator!
