Not necessarily: as not every cough comes from the lungs, inflamed upper airways can cause cough too, more history, good physical exam and probably peak flow measurement / spirometry (sort of lung function testing) will help your diagnosis. See an allergist or return to your allergist for evaluation, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area, best wishes
