If you are referring: to Potassium Citrate, it's not an antibiotic. It may reduce the symptoms of bladder irritation but it doesn't treat bladder infections. Profloxin is an antibiotic. If you're Mom isn't getting any relief from profloxin, she needs to contact her doctor. Either her infection is resistant to Profloxin or something other than infection is causing her symptoms.
