>yes: yes it's the most logical reason. You should consult with your family physician and have an x-ray or MRI to confirm any pathology in the lower back usually L5 S1

Sciatica.: What your are describing does not seem to be vein related and sounds more like neurologic symptoms. I would recommend that you see your PMD for an evaluation and referral to the appropriate specialist.
