Dr gave me 1000mg for 3 days oral steriod for my ms flare. am i going to gain weight and get moonface? know the benefits. want to be prepared though

Steroid: 3 days of steroid is not going to make you gain weight. Steroids are the most powerful anti-inflammatory drugs possible. Your body produces steroids every day of your life. Occasional steroid use is not terrible. Avoid chronic use if possible. They can cause increased appetite, accumulation of fat, aseptic necrosis of the femoral head and many other anomalies. A short 3 day course is ok.
