Sometimes: If the patient is thin an enlarged ovary can be palpated. Also if the cyst is large enough it can be palpated. Most pelvic pain caused by the female organs are caused by the uterus as it is a muscle and can spasm. the ovaries have no muscle. You need a thorough exam to determine the actual source of your pain.
