No growth in adults: as adults are already grown, hypothyroid can be asymptomatic, cause subtle symptoms, or can masquerade as another medical disorder e.g. infertility or menstrual problems. I am not sure of your question, but thyroid dysfunction is not uncommon, and better keep the follow up once diagnosed, best wishes

Unrelated in adult: Hypothyroidism in infants or children would be picked up when it began to interfere with growth. Growth assessment is part of routine checkups & leads to a drop off in growth rate.Linear growth stops in most females by 17 and males 18 when growth centers close. It is almost a decade since your linear growth was expected to stop,so a new diagnosis of low thyroid has nothing to do with your height
