Yes: Yes, SI joint pathology can lead to symptoms that run down the leg. The L5 nerve root runs inverse the anterior aspect of the SI joint and can become inflamed in patients with problems in the SI joint. Don't hesitate to be seen if you are having problems, there are many treatment options out there.

SI Joint & leg pain: Please think holistically. One body part impacts another, especially in musculo-skeletal situations. Treatment can be holistic also. Please see your doc who may prescribe physical therapy. Then reflect on lifestyle. No exercise or the wrong exercise? Your PT or doc can help guide you in that area. Peace and good health. Tumeric capsules are a good natural anti-inflammatory.

Yes but: It can, but I'd agree with others. Get checked out by your doctor to see if it is SI joint or other similar problems.
