SI Joint Pain: can radiate down to the calf in some people. There are referred patterns down the leg via the SI Joint. Typically though SI jt pain is found locally in the buttock/pelvis area. If there is narrowing of the neuroforamen where the nerve exits then you can have sciatica like pain.

SI pain is local S1: pain is radicular (down to the lateral edge of the foot.) Depending on the cause of Sacroiliac pain it can be a minor issue or a major pain in the butt (infections and tumors may require surgery).
